Recording now Available: Adopting Video Learning – And Why It Matters – A webinar with Dr. Michael Moon

You may have missed the webinar, but the recording is now available.

Webinar Description:

Learning from other people has long been recognized as an important way to familiarize newcomers to an organization but colleagues and peer groups are significant sources for learning in every phase of the employee lifecycle.  Video-enabled learning can help support learners, particularly when it is delivered via searchable, bite-sized chunks. This method is useful for learners who need access to just-in-time learning enabling the learner to apply the knowledge to the current challenge at hand.  But not every organization is ready to adopt the use of video content as a part of their learning repertoire. Despite 2014 research from Forrester Research which found that employees are 75 percent more likely to watch a video than to read documents, emails or web articles, not everyone is convinced.  Similar to mobile and social learning, HR and Learning leaders have concerns over the efficacy of video content, especially user-generated content.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • What the many benefits of using video learning content are and hear about some of the many use cases for video learning
  • What some of the obstacles to the adoption of video learning are and how to overcome them
  • How to integrate video learning content as part of your overall learning strategy
  • How to harness the collective intelligence of your employees through user-generated video content to collaboratively create new forms of dynamic learning content where employees can learn both with and from each other.
